  • Determine the best search keywords for free, and put them where they work hardest.Achieve copy that sells, and also includes the most important keywords.
  • Know which places in your site need special attention.
  • Where on your web pages the search terms need to fall.
  • Understand text vs. images, and text vs. code.
  • Avoid SEO blunders -- stupid tricks that will get your site dumped or blacklisted by the search engines.
